Driving Sustainability through Supply Chains

In our upcoming workshop, we will dive deeper into sustainability across the supply chain. We invite you to bring your challenges and successes to the table. By gathering representatives from various points in the supply chain, we aim to uncover what's working, what's not, and how we can collectively overcome obstacles. Let's share stories, celebrate successes, and address challenges together, making complex supply chains an integral part of the sustainability solution. Let's explore how we can be part of the change.

The challenge

• How can we foster a deeper understanding of the collective impact of supply chains on sustainability, shifting focus from individual businesses to a broader, collaborative approach? How do we inspire and encourage organisations to embrace this mindset, making sustainability collaboration the standard rather than the exception?
• There are numerous success stories illustrating the benefits of cross-supply chain collaboration in enhancing sustainability. How can we promote this paradigm shift in thinking to ensure it becomes a universal practice across industries?

The format

This workshop will be facilitated by Allan Boyd​ from Celemi​ using some simple but effective exercises to explore the topic outlined above. We'll use part of a business simulation to help set the scene and scope for the workshop - a fun and collaborative way to get stuck into the challenge. We will then deep dive into the aspects that drive success and failure when it comes to integrating sustainability approaches across a supply chain. Most importantly, we'll tap into the collective experiences and stories of the participants to inspire innovative solutions and foster connections. Join us as we explore why collaboration across the supply chain is indispensable for achieving sustainability goals.
