The worst of the economic decline is over with the extreme growth contraction in Q2 2020 unlikely to be revisited. As relief measures ease, the true impact of the pandemic will be revealed. China's growth recovery continues, but it is far from self-sustaining. After contracting in 2020, Asia Pacific's growth will rebound in 2021. Yet, the outlook will keep the region below the pre-pandemic trend by end-2021.
