Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Singapore will be held on Thursday 11 March 2021 at 6:30-8pm at HUONE​, 3D River Valley Rd, #03-01 Block D, Singapore 179023.

This year we are honoured to have Mr Kiren Kumar​, Deputy Chief Executive of Singapore's Info-Comms & Media Development Authority (IMDA),​ as our key note speaker at our AGM. After having served as Executive Vice President of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)​, Mr Kumar recently took over as Deputy Chief Executive of IMDA. During his time at EDB, Mr Kumar served several years in Stockholm covering the Nordics for the organisation's Global Operations Division. He has over the years worked closely with many Swedish multinational corporations on their Asian strategies and their investments into Singapore, which has given him a unique insight into the Nordic business environment and its context. We are delighted to have Mr Kumar with us at the AGM to share his vision, not only on Sweden-Singapore business cooperation going forward, but also, as new head of IMDA, what lies ahead for Singapore in its quest to be a global front-runner for innovation in the 5G era.

The Agenda for the AGM can be found here​. If a Member wishes to add an item to the AGM Agenda, he/she may do so by notifying SwedCham's office in writing seven days before the date of the AGM, i.e by 4 March 2021.

1. SwedCham's 2020 Financial Statements, together with the Auditors' Report
2. SwedCham's 2020 budget
3. SwedCham's 2020 Annual Report
4. A presentation of the Nomination Committee's proposal of new Board Members for 2021-22.

Should a voting Member not be able to attend, please use this proxy​ and send it via email to SwedCham's office by 1 March 2021 so that a quorum can be reached at the AGM.

The AGM is free of charge. A drink and a light dinner will be served during the meeting.

6:10-6:30: Registration and safe check-in

6:30-7pm: SwedCham's 2021 AGM

7-7:15pm: Remarks by Kiren Kumar, Deputy Chief Executive, IMDA

7:15-8pm: Fireside-style conversation between Mr Kumar and Swedish Ambassador HE Niclas Kvarnström. Questions from the audience are welcome.

Please note: Due to current COVID rules and regulations, voting Members (Main Partners, Partners, Corporate Members, Start-up Members and Overseas Members) will be prioritised for this event.
