Predicting the future within today's business landscape is extremely challenging, irrespective of industry. Yet, incorporating the principle of 'strategic foresight' into an organisational framework can facilitate the integration of a diverse range of plausible scenarios into the decision-making process. Cultivating such a mindset is instrumental in navigating our increasingly disruptive world.

Strategic foresight is not about predicting the future. It is discovering multiple futures and using those perspectives to frame strategic decisions today. In a time of increasing complexity and disruption, designing and planning the future of organisations requires a range of speculative foresight practices which promote curiosity, inclusion, creativity and optimism.

Independent of industry or sector, the application of emerging trends from a systemic and user centric approach will allow individuals and teams to seize disruptive innovation opportunities and lead the change. To empower teams to shape their desired futures, there are tools and methodologies available which can be used to make informed decisions today on strategy, planning and innovation work.

In this 90-minute workshop hosted by Hyper Island​, you will develop your futurist capabilities with a set of tools and techniques that help navigate uncertainty and make better-informed decisions. Together, we will :
