Event Details

Swedish Chambers International (SCI) invites SwedCham Singapore's business community to join a free event on 14 February which will delve into the impact of Sweden's increasing crime rate on the country's global image.

Sweden has been making headlines lately, dealing with challenges like gang-related crime in major cities and potential conflicts with Russia. The world is keeping a close eye on these issues as they unfold. This event seeks to address the extent to which these challenges impact the nation's reputation as a safe and peaceful country, and more significantly, how they influence critical aspects such as business, inward investment, and the recruitment of international talent. While The Place Brand Observer currently sees Sweden as relatively strong in terms of competitiveness, the big question is: How long will this last?

A panel of experts will share their insights on the multifaceted impact on the Swedish brand. Leading the discussion is Stockholm-based British broadcaster Maddy Savage, bringing her extensive experience from working with the BBC and other global media outlets to the role of moderator for this engaging session.

This event will take place in Stockholm with virtual access for those who would like to participate remotely. The event will be recorded. For more details and to sign up, please click HERE.
