Market Outlook: Taiwan

Taiwan may be a small island, but it is one of Asia's largest economies with strong purchasing power, openness for international business and high technological maturity.

Although Taiwan is, without doubt, the largest manufacturer of the world's most advanced semiconductors, there is more to the market that makes it interesting for Swedish businesses. The largest sector with significant opportunities for Swedish companies is in ICT. Other market sectors that could generate potential business for Swedish companies are manufacturing, healthcare & life science and renewables, to name a few. Sweden and Taiwan have, over the years, built excellent trade relations, and the number of Swedish companies is constantly increasing.
