For some people, networking could be associated with a negative feeling of not knowing how to start a conversation. But even if networking is something you dread, it is necessary or even crucial for your career success.

Professional networking can take many forms and does not always mean you have to seek out new connections. Networking can also involve informal interactions, such as chatting with colleagues during breaks, sharing ideas and resources, and collaborating on projects.
