Digital Trade is the New World Order regardless of the nature of the goods or services involved. Whilst the last mile still depends on physical logistics, there are a number of regulatory hurdles that must be managed when we look at digital trade.

To this end, a number of free trade agreements involving the digitalisation of trade are starting to sprout including most recently the UK-Singapore Digital Trade Agreement. The EU and Singapore are also in discussion to strengthen their partnership on digital trade. With these advances in discussions, trade agreements and local laws, what is it that businesses must be alert to?
