Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore will be held on Thursday 7 March 2024, 6:30-9:00 pm, at Goodwood Park Hotel​, 22 Scotts Road (Tudor Ballroom).


This year, we are honoured to have Nicholas Fang​ as keynote speaker at our AGM. Mr Fang is known for his expertise in geopolitics, security issues, and international relations, particularly within the context of Southeast Asia. He has contributed extensively to discussions in Singapore on regional politics, defense, and diplomacy, offering insights into the dynamics shaping the strategic landscape of Asia-Pacific nations.


After many years with The Straits Times national newspaper, Mr Fang later transitioned to Channel NewsAsia at MediaCorp Singapore, where he served as the business desk editor and presenter, anchoring major news bulletins. During his tenure as a former Nominated Member of Parliament, Nicholas Fang dedicated his efforts to key areas such as international affairs, media, defence and security.

The Agenda for the AGM can be found here​. If a Member wishes to add an item to the AGM Agenda, he/she may do so by notifying SwedCham's office in writing seven days before the date of the AGM, i.e. by 1 March 2023.

  1. SwedCham's 2023 Financial Statements, together with the Auditors' Report
  2. SwedCham's 2023 Annual Report
  3. SwedCham's 2024 Budget
  4. A presentation of the Nomination Committee's proposal for new Board Members for 2024-25.


Should a voting Member not be able to attend, please use this proxy​ and send it via email to SwedCham's office by 29 February 2024 so that a quorum can be reached at the AGM.


Please note: Voting Members (Main Partners, Partners, Corporate Members and Start-up Members) will be prioritised for this event. Any Individual Members who wish to attend, please fill in this form​, and we will let you know in due course if space is available. We apologise for any inconvenience.


The AGM is free of charge. A drink and a light dinner will be served during the meeting. Dress code: Business casual.
