Multinational corporates are grappling with challenges in the design and execution of a roadmap for the reduction of so called Scope 3 emissions* in their Asia Pacific operations.


SwedCham has invited DBS Bank for this in-person event to share their insights on currently available enablers to bring capacity, incentive, visibility and measurement, targeted at corporate supply chains and to accelerate de-carbonisation. Complementing this, Climate Impact X, Singapore's first voluntary carbon exchange, will showcase how Singapore now offers a platform/marketplace for the creation and access to quality carbon offsets and trading as an instrumental pillar to help businesses in their sustainability transition to a low carbon economy.

Leveraging the responsible use of carbon offsets from Singapore. Speaker: Mikkel Larsen, CEO, Climate Impact X (CIX).

  • Introduction to carbon markets
  • Key considerations for corporates in engaging carbon credit markets
  • The CIX: what are its targeted assets, illustrative trades and corporate engagement model?
  • How to participate as a buyer or contributor.


Enabling sustainability through transition finance in the supply chains in APAC. Speaker: Yulanda Chung, Head of Sustainability, Institutional Banking Group,DBS.

  • The long road and high costs of decarbonisation across industries in Asia Pacific
  • What is recognised as transitional finance and key considerations for banks, investors and NGOs
  • Application of transition finance for capex investments and beyond
  • How to work out a Scope 3 emissions reduction plan: strategies and enablers available today via supply chain financing and platforms.


The presentations will be followed by an open discussion / Q&A session.
