Named after the former Atlas Copco Group CEO, it highlights innovations that have a substantial impact on production efficiency and quality. Marcel Horemans, Johan Dom, Dave Verresen, and Karel Vennens have been awarded this year's Giulio Mazzalupi Operational Excellence Award. They were recognized for developing and implementing an automated manufacturing line that optimized the production of compressor units. This advancement cut production time in half, reducing the time to produce a single air end from 20 minutes to 10 minutes. This achievement has ensured sustained operational excellence. Electric self-priming pump and energy storage system transform operations at Schladming wastewater treatment plant in Austria 💧 🍃 The local authorities wanted to future-proof the #wastewater treatment plant. In collaboration with Häny Austria GmbH, they were able to meet the plant's sustainability goals by using an #AtlasCopco ZBP energy storage system and an E PAS electric pump. 📢 “We recognise that more customers than ever are looking for ways to improve their #sustainability and lower environmental impacts.
