The Giulio Mazzalupi Operational Excellence Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of operational excellence. Named after the former Atlas Copco Group CEO, it highlights innovations that have a substantial impact on production efficiency and quality. Marcel Horemans, Johan Dom, Dave Verresen, and Karel Vennens have been awarded this year's Giulio Mazzalupi Operational Excellence Award. They were recognized for developing and implementing an automated manufacturing line that optimized the production of compressor units. This advancement cut production time in half, reducing the time to produce a single air end from 20 minutes to 10 minutes. This achievement has ensured sustained operational excellence.
