Cindy Wee is since 2014 the Regional Human Resource Manager, South Asia Pacific, for Axis Communications: a Swedish-based company in the intelligent security solutions business. Prior to this, Cindy was the Senior Vice President/Head of Human Resource, Asia for a US insurance broker, Marsh Inc. In the close to 5 years that she has been with Axis Communications, she has worked actively on building and promoting a stronger and sustainable Axis culture based on the company core values. Since then the company has grown in headcount and revenue by more than fifty percent.

Horst Wasel, a German citizen, has more than 35 years experience in Atlas Copco. He started his long and fruitful Atlas Copco career in 1983 when he joined Atlas Copco Energas in Germany as Mechanical Development Engineer. In January 2017, he moved to Singapore and as Vice President for Atlas Copco in Southeast Asia Holding. Over the years he has built up broad international experience, and today he is the Chairperson and has Legal Board responsibility for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Myanmar.

Right now she is busy with leadership and team development initiatives in the company. To reach the vision of IKEA is not a one-man (or woman!) show, and while our world is constantly changing, the importance of unleashing the potential of each individual and team has become more important than ever.
