Ambassador of Sweden to Malaysia
H.E. Joachim Bergström is the Ambassador of Sweden to Malaysia since August 2021.
From September 2019 to August 2021, H.E. Bergström was Sweden’s Ambassador to the DPRK.
Previously, he was the Ambassador to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Ambassador for intercultural and interreligious dialogue from 2017 to 2019.
He has been posted to Tokyo, Riyadh and Washington, DC.
Emma Broms
Trade Commissioner at Business Sweden
In her role as Trade Commissioner, Ms Emma Broms has been heading Business Sweden’s operations in Malaysia since May 2022.
Ms Broms has worked for Business Sweden in Australia and The Netherlands and has many years of experience in managerial positions at communication agencies and within management consulting.
