SwedCham AGM 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore will be held on Thursday 13 March 2024, 6:30-9:00 pm, at The Standard​, 12 Orange Grove Rd, Singapore 258353.

This year, we are honoured to have Dr Taimur Baig​, Managing Director & Chief Economist at DBS Bank​, as keynote speaker at our AGM. Mr. Baig is a prominent economist with extensive experience in economic research and analysis. He plays a key role in shaping the bank's macroeconomic outlook and advising on global economic trends. Mr Baig is known for his expertise in Asian economies, financial markets, and policy-making, and he frequently provides insights on economic developments in the region.

AGENDA:

5:45-6:30 pm: Registration followed by cocktail-reception

6:30-7:10 pm: SwedCham's AGM 2025

7:15-8:00 pm: Keynote by Dr Taimur Baig​

8:00-9:00 pm: Light dinner.

The Agenda for the AGM can be found here​. If a Member wishes to add an item to the AGM Agenda, he/she may do so by notifying SwedCham's office in writing seven days before the date of the AGM, i.e. by 1 March 2023.

1. SwedCham's 2024 Financial Statements, together with the Auditors' Report
2. SwedCham's 2024 Annual Report
3. SwedCham's 2025 Budget
4. A presentation of the Nomination Committee's proposal for new Board Members for 2025-26.

Should a voting Member not be able to attend, please use this proxy​ and send it via email to SwedCham's office by Friday 28 February 2025 so that a quorum can be reached at the AGM.

Please note: Voting Members (Main Partners, Partners, Corporate Members and Start-up Members) will be prioritised for this event. Any Individual Members who wish to attend, please fill in this form​, and we will let you know in due course if space is available. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The AGM is free of charge. A drink and a light dinner will be served during the evening. Dress code: Business casual.
