Valerio Manca

Vice President and Key Account Manager at Ericsson

Valerio Manca leads the Ericsson Singtel account and is responsible for Sales and Delivery for Singtel’s operations in Singapore across the Ericsson Portfolio.

In his previous roles at Ericsson, he managed various international and multi-country accounts, such as Rogers Account in Canada and Millicom and Liberty in Latin America.

Prior to that, he was Ericsson's Head of Practice Fixed Broadband and Convergence in Latam, responsible for Sales and delivery of Broadband, IP and convergent customer-centric offerings in the region of Latin America.

Before that, Valerio covered the Head of Networks Strategy role at Ericsson in Eastern Europe and managed the Networks Strategy function for the Market Unit Eastern Europe & Central Asia.

Valerio has over 20 years of international executive-level experience in managing global sales teams, developing partnerships, and driving sales growth, with experience in 5G, Cloud, Digital Transformation, and Managed Services.

He joined Ericsson in 2000 and holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Rome, "La Sapienza".

Jason Sia is a Senior Manager from Singtel's 5G Enterprise Network Engineering. His journey into 5G technology began at Singtel's 5G Garage, Singapore's first live 5G test facility, training centre, and ideation lab to grow Singapore's 5G ecosystem and drive enterprises' adoption of 5G technology in their digital transformations.

With over ten years of applied engineering experience in cellular wireless communications technology, a knack for dabbling in emerging technology, and an interest in curating innovative solutions for customers' use cases, he now delivers 5G networks and next-generation connectivity services to enterprises with various passionate cross-functional teams in Singtel.

He holds a B.Eng Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from Nanyang Technological University and Specialist diplomas in Smart Cities Technologies and Data Science from Singapore Polytechnic. Prior to joining Singtel in 2019, he held the positions of Principal Engineer in a communication service provider building wireless networks, and as a Policy Manager in Singapore’s Smart Nation Group.

Marie Hélène is the Business Development Director for the APAC region in Axis Communications. She and her team are developing the industry segments business and the value selling approach for video surveillance, access control, and audio systems solutions. She specifically focuses on developing fast-growing Cloud, 5G and IOT businesses.

Prior to joining Axis in 2017, Marie Hélène held several global leadership positions in the aerospace, defence, energy and IT Systems industries. She develops strong skills in high-tech systems, products and services for B2B and B2G markets in Safety and Security, Information Systems and Cybersecurity.
She earns a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design from INSA Lyon in France and a Master’s degree in Intelligence Marketing from HEC Paris.

Based in Singapore, she is a seasoned leader with relevant experience in both European and Asian markets.

Tricia is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in business development, global affairs, communications, and marketing across the tech sector, having contributed significantly at Axis Communications, Dassault Systèmes, Autodesk, and Acronis.

Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Future Business at Axis, Tricia is responsible for identifying and cultivating growth opportunities in Cloud and IoT solutions. She plays a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and projects, particularly in the rapidly evolving 5G landscape.

Prior to her current role, Tricia was the segment manager for Smart Cities and Transportation at Axis. In this role, she was instrumental in crafting compelling value propositions, building a robust ecosystem of technology allies, engaging with key stakeholders, and amplifying Axis’ presence across the Asia Pacific region. She also led strategic initiatives around telcos and smart streetlights during her time in the role.

Tan Chee Seng (Centre Director, 5G & AIoT Centre at Singapore Polytechnic)

Tan Chee Seng is the Centre Director for the 5G & AIoT Centre at Singapore Polytechnic (SP). One of his key responsibilities is to drive both 5G and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) initiative development in SP.

He has experience in working with industry leaders like Robert Bosch and Contec, launching the SP Smart Connected Solution Laboratory that trains full-time students, adult learners, as well as organisations on cloud computing, IoT systems and applications. To date, he has conducted many short courses for organisations such as Nestle, MOE, ARTC, SMF, Rolls Royce, SP Power, Panasonic QA, ComfortDelGro and CapitaLand.

Chee Seng is also an accredited and qualified Amazon Web Services (AWS) educator. Before joining SP, Chee Seng worked as a project manager and lead engineer at STMicroelectronics. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Digital Video Broadcasting.
